This class is perfectly suited for individuals who want to learn "real world self-defense," get in great shape and relieve excess stress. We call this "Fitness with a Purpose." Students will learn all the best techniques involved in the striking arts of Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Boxing, Karate and Modern Tae Kwon Do. Even more importantly, students learn how to avoid strikes, block strikes and counter strikes thrown at them. Improvement on speed, power and overall accuracy will be constantly refined in this class.
Your self-confidence and mental discipline will increase dramatically, allowing you to get further ahead in your job and to better deal with today's stressful work environment. Expect to see improvement in your stamina, flexibility and coordination. The Kickboxing classes are designed for the individual who wants to acquire all the benefits martial arts training has to offer, without the fear of getting injured. Our school emphasizes training in a very fun, challenging and exciting way. Special attention is also placed on a clean, organized and safe training environment.
For the individual who wants to become a very proficient stand up striker, the Kickboxing class will also incorporate contact Kickboxing rounds. These individuals will have the opportunity to acquire safety equipment (hand wraps, boxing gloves, shin guards, mouth piece, ext.) and practice Kickboxing rounds with other students. This will enhance one's training to include "real time" applications of both offensive and defensive fighting techniques.
